LG Electronics has officially released provisional performance for the fourth quarter of 2023. Considering the macroeconomic situation, the results were satisfactory. Sales exceeded expectations, but operating profit fell short of expectations. Quarterly sales are the highest ever.
Provisional sales and provisional operating profit for the fourth quarter of last year were 23.1567 trillion won and 312.5 billion won, respectively. Sales increased by 11.8% compared to the previous quarter and by 5.9% compared to the same period last year.
Securities analysts predicted LG Electronics’ sales and operating profit in the fourth quarter of 2023 to be around 22.93 trillion won and 690 billion won, respectively.
The provisional annual sales and operating profit in 2023 are KRW 84.2804 trillion and KRW 3.5485 trillion, respectively.
