At IMC 2022, 5G connection was launched in India in October of last year. Since then, telecom operators and smartphone manufacturers have collaborated to ensure that phones are compatible with 5G networks. Apple and Google, on the other hand, were late to the party. How Do You Turn On 5G on Your Google Pixel Phone?
Users can now enjoy 5G speed on their Pixel phones thanks to the March update. Before we begin, make sure you have downloaded and installed the March update (size: 457MB) on your Pixel phone. Also, ensure that you are using an Airtel or Jio sim card, as Vodafone Idea (Vi) and BSNL do not support 5G in India.
- Go to Settings on your Pixel phone.
- Tap on Network and Internet.
- Choose a SIM that supports 5G and tap on Network Preferences.
- Now, it will show you three options – 5G, LTE and 3G. Choose 5G.
