Middle of last month, Google launched its latest OS version Android 13 for Pixel devices. This latest version brought new features like Cinematic wallpapers, a Quick QR code scanner, Material You with color palette, language per app, and much more. Now, Hiroshi Lockheimer, Google’s Senior Vice President of Platforms & Ecosystem, posted that the upcoming version means Android 14 will have Satellites connectivity. You can see this in the below-attached screenshot of Twitter.
The latest update comes after the announcement from the T-Mobile and Starlink of the ‘Coverage above & Beyond’. This is a direct Starlink connection to available phones which brings cellular connectivity all over the world. It means how close you are to any cell tower.
The aim of the T- Mobile is to remove mobile dead zones by integrating its existing mid-band PCS spectrum into Starlink V2 satellites. When the new version of Android rolls out it’s really exciting how the feature of Android 14 will have Satellites connectivity work. For this device no need to do any changes to use this feature. Android 14 will bring new feature not just this but more which is increase phone performance more.
