In recent years, the subscription model has become popular in the game industry. According to statistics, Sony PS Plus is the most popular game subscription service in the United States, with a user ratio of 41%.
Followed by Amazon Prime (Luna), accounting for 39%. The survey, conducted by Statista in May, interviewed 1,099 U.S. game subscribers and asked them if they had spent money on various game subscription services in the past year.
41% said they purchased PS Plus/PS Now. It was followed by Amazon Prime/Amazon Luna, with 39% saying they had used Amazon’s services in the past year. Amazon Luna is a cloud gaming platform launched by Amazon, launching in 2021.
Microsoft is in third place with Game Pass and Xbox Gold.
