Recently, it was reported that God of War 5 will be released in November this year, but the official announcement was stopped at the last minute. According to Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier, the reason behind it may be the ongoing anger over the U.S. Supreme Court’s rejection of Roe v. Wade. Nonetheless, Jason confirmed that God of War 5 is still planned for release in November, and there is a high level of internal excitement for the game.
After talking to more people yesterday, I can say with certainty that the release date/pre-order announcement was planned yesterday. It was delayed sometime last week. I don’t know why. People are guessing it’s because of Luo E.V. Wade.
Plus, PlayStation has been trying to keep it a secret so much that most SSM employees don’t know about it. As of this week, the game is still scheduled for November. The developers are saying it’s big, it seems Excited about it. It reminds me of what players can expect from a God of War 4 game in 2018.”
God of War 5 will be released on PS4 and PS5 platforms, the most recent rumor being November 11.
