Some time ago, Google introduced a Workspace subscription for small business owners who use a private email address and don’t need their own domain. Those same users often need signatures from their business partners to confirm orders. Google wants to simplify this process by natively supporting digital signatures.
To do this, you will simply be able to drag the fields for the signature and the signature data into the document. The link to the contract can then be shared and your counterpart can sign it directly without the hassle of paper. You can also view status and create copies of contracts for recurring orders.
Under certain circumstances, this could save separate subscriptions for services such as DocuSign.
