On May 20, it was reported that the delivery time of the official website of the US electric car maker Tesla has been delayed again, which means that some customers who ordered the new Model X will have to wait as long as two years to pick up the car.
Tesla’s official website recently updated the delivery date of the new Model X electric car. Some users who pre-ordered the Tesla Model X said the delivery date had been updated from December 2022 to April 2023.
This is yet another time Tesla has delayed deliveries of the new Model X. Before that, some Model X pre-orders had a July 2022 delivery date. Delivery delays for the new Model X are serious. One Tesla customer said he initially ordered a Model X in early 2021, and since then, the estimated delivery time for the car has been adjusted eight times.
Currently, the expected delivery date for the new Model X is April 2023, which means some customers who ordered the new Model X in early 2021 may have to wait a full two years to mention the car.
Tesla’s official website shows that the Model X dual-motor all-wheel-drive version is now ordered, with an estimated delivery time from January to April 2023. By comparison, the three-motor all-wheel-drive Model X Plaid version is expected to have an August-October 2022 delivery date.
Judging from the estimated delivery time, Tesla does not seem to have significantly increased the production schedule of the new Model S and Model X. Tesla’s official website also shows that the Model S dual-motor all-wheel-drive version is now pre-ordered, with an estimated delivery date from November 2022 to February 2023.
