According to the Windows Latest report, at present, users often find that it is difficult not to be formatted when inserting media content on social media sites and pasting text in Windows 10 applications. In the Windows 10 Sun Valley update, Microsoft plans to improve the Windows Cloud Clipboard, which is one of the most important features of the operating system.
The next update of Windows 10 will introduce a new “clipboard” experience, supporting an improved clipboard history menu, allowing you to insert emojis, GIFs, and the contents of the clipboard, whether formatted or not. The new “Clipboard” manager also uses Fluent’s fluent design. It is equipped with a new touch-friendly interface UI, which has been seen on Windows 10X before.
The new clipboard experience makes it easier for users to add content and media content to information in almost all applications, such as Outlook, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, etc. In any text field in the application of your choice, you need to hold down the Windows key + V key until you see the clipboard menu. When finished, you can click any emoji or GIF to add it to the text area. Or, you can use the search bar to scroll through the list to find more content.

New Copy & Paste Experience:
For many years, pasting text in emails, documents, and applications without formatting has tested everyone’s patience. In applications such as Microsoft Office, you can easily paste text with or without formatting.
Among all other applications, Windows 10 requires the support of application developers, etc. Fortunately, Microsoft has heard feedback that the built-in clipboard manager will allow users to reproduce the long-awaited “Paste as Plain Text” option.
As you can see from the screenshot above, when you simply paste text from a website such as Wikipedia. The Windows 10 clipboard currently retains formatting (recognizing links, fonts, different languages, numbers, tables, and addresses). In the Windows 10 Sun Valley update, you can open the clipboard menu (Win+V), and when you try to paste the content you copied in any format, a new option called “Paste as Text” will appear.
This new button is very convenient when you want to reformat the copied text and delete unnecessary links or bold/black text. Microsoft is testing more improvements to the clipboard manager in the internal build version of Windows 10, and will start mass-producing later this year.
