NFT (Non-Fungible Token, non-fungible token) has rapidly become popular in the past year. According to the US consumer news and business channel CNBC, NFT market OpenSea CEO Devin Finzer said late Saturday that OpenSea is investigating a hacking incident in which some users’ NFTs worth $1.7 million were stolen.
So far, 32 users have signed up for the intrusion from attackers, and some of their NFTs have been stolen, Finzer said. Finzer also clarified the rumors that hackers had stolen $200 million worth of NFTs, saying that the hackers had $1.7 million in ETH in their wallets, which was obtained by selling some of the stolen NFTs.
In addition, Finzer claims that some of the stolen NFTs have been returned. At present, the valuation of OpenSea has reached 13 billion US dollars, which is one of the most valuable companies in the NFT field.
