CDPR released a new trailer for the next-generation version in last night’s Cyberpunk 2077 version 1.5 update, which is currently available on PS5, XSX/S, and PC. The update adds new weapons to the game, a new apartment for V, a vanity mirror, and a number of combat, economy, and balance adjustments to the drop system.
The free trial version is now available on the PS5/Xbox Series X|S platform, and you can play for free for 5 hours. The trial version is open for 30 days and ends on March 16, 2022.

Added ray traced local lighting shadows.
Implemented support for native achievements on next-gen consoles. Please note that PlayStation Trophies earned in Backward Compatibility will not transfer due to the different SKUs used in the next-gen version. Xbox Achievements automatically appear on new builds through the Smart Distribution feature.
Two graphics modes have been added to PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X: Performance Mode and Ray Tracing Mode.
-Performance mode can ensure smooth gameplay at 60fps with dynamic 4K scaling.

apartment
After V discovers the apartment in Night City, he can rent it out for a one-time fee, or he can complete the lease there by visiting Simple Realty’s website on his computer in the H10 apartment of the superskyscraper. After completing the mission “Black Dream”, the apartment rental function will open. You can rent all the apartments at the same time, and they share the contents of the storage room.

Certain interaction options in the apartment can provide temporary buffs:
– Bath – Gives the status effect “Refreshed” for an hour.
– “Refreshed”: Allows you to restore health during combat. If you have the feat “Rejuvenation”, your health regeneration rate is increased by 20% during combat. Health will recover up to 60% of the upper limit on its own.
– Go to bed – restores health and grants the status effect “Refreshed” for an hour.
– “Energetic”: +20% Skill EXP.
– Brew Coffee – Gives the status effect “Energetic” for an hour.
– “Energetic”: +25% Max Stamina, +30% Stamina Recovery.
Appearance customization
You can now adjust certain aspects of your appearance (like hair, makeup, piercings, etc.) by looking in the mirror in any apartment or safe house. This operation is free and unlimited. You can find new items in Wilson’s shop “Second Amendment” in Superskyscraper H10, which you can also pick up while exploring Night City.

Battle AI
Numerous fixes and improvements have been made to NPC’s melee and ranged combat AI responses, including entering cover, walking, reloading, equipping weapons, dodging, blocking, and many others.
Numerous improvements to dismember triggers, hit reactions, and death animations, greatly increasing the hits in ranged and melee combat.
Enemies are now better able to block and evade attacks (Krenzikov). The heavier the weapon, the easier it is to hit. The reverse is also true for avoidance.
Further differentiates the AI logic of melee and ranged combat for different factions: Reckless, Aggressive, Balanced, Conservative and Cautious.
Follow the NPC to work harder when fighting. But if they take enough damage, they are defeated and temporarily unable to act.

Crowd improvement
Crowd hostile AI logic: Certain NPC categories that are stimulated by aiming, shooting or fighting will enter a battle state with the player. Due to certain technical difficulties, the game version of the previous generation console will not include these contents.
Time jumps have effects on NPCs, resetting the state of equipment, environments, and certain scenes.
Improved crowd response, wayfinding and removal.
driving model
A brand new bombing mode has been added! Press and hold the accelerator and brake simultaneously to activate the function, and use the steering wheel to spin the tires. The previous system was only able to steer in place, now you can try this new way of playing! Burning tires, flicking, and accelerating in place. It can also be used when driving at high speed. Holding the brakes and the accelerator while cornering quickly can make most vehicles perform high maneuvering drifting actions. Players who use the keyboard to play games can bind the new secondary key to the arrow keys (some keyboards ignore the input of the third key when only using WASD), but gamepad users can best experience the control of the system Feel (in general, the handle can provide the driving feel that most players love).
The new braking system unifies the drivability of front and rear drive at various speeds. Added simulation of ABS. The brakes of all vehicles have been tuned for the new model.

Improved simulation of gearboxes. Greatly improved the AI logic of downshifting. The transmission system is now more realistic in low gears, and the shifting logic is more intelligent to ensure that the engine is in the best condition. Improved motorcycles. In addition to all the above improvements making the motorcycle more stable, improvements to the steering model have been added and tuned accordingly.
Tuning improvements for various vehicles. Steering and other improvements have been made to the Goodela Type 66 (all models, especially the Avenger), Mizutani Hayabusa (especially the MZ2), Herrera Outlaw (main model), and the base Snail.
Improvements have been made to all vehicles that require adjustments to the first person view. Additionally, Wanderer vehicles equipped with Crystal Ball technology will now digitally remove objects that block the view.

Panic Response to Danger: Moving vehicles will now panic and turn around to avoid danger. NPC passengers will now die in traffic accidents.
Responding to minor crashes: The vehicle now has a wider range of determinations in the face of a collision and will resume its course more naturally.

balance
Various changes related to the economy system, including increased rewards for completing quests and open world events, and lower prices for vehicles and prosthetics.
Rebalanced and improved the functionality of the clothing plugin. Adjusted the number of plug-in slots on clothing items. Plugins are classified according to corresponding clothing items. All equipped addons are now moved back to the inventory. Go to the inventory screen and re-equip it according to the new rules.
The “easy” difficulty of the game is now a moderate amount of challenge.
Introduced 2 new stats that replace evasion: half-damage chance and half-damage strength. The half-damage chance determines the player’s chance of reducing damage taken. Half Damage Strength determines the percentage of damage reduction (default is 50%). What was previously used to increase evasion now applies to half damage. For example: reaction attributes, specialties such as “Slippery Hands”, “Phantom Invisibility”, “Fearless”, some clothing plug-ins and prosthetics, etc.
Rebalanced damage-over-time effects to broadly reduce main body damage from effects such as Burn, Bleed, and Poison.
Reduced the chance of Tiger Claw Gang’s Glowing Tattoo ability interfering with Smart Bullets.
Added a more stealthy means to escape capture by the NCPD. V can now choose to hide within the search area, rather than fleeing a certain distance from the crime scene to get away from the police. But doing so would take more time for the police to end the manhunt.
prosthetic
Unused prostheses can now be sold at Prosthetics Doctors.
Corrected the cooldown displayed in the Prosthetic “Live Blood Pump” tooltip.
Immunity effects that deal damage to cyber hackers or have a prosthetic “Self ICE” can now interrupt cracking “exposed locations”.
Activating Berserk now doubles stamina instead of gaining infinite stamina.
The sedative rounds of the projectile launch system now do not affect non-human NPCs.
Reduced the number of ricochets to 1 for the Legendary Ballistic Coprocessor, but increased ricochet damage by 50%.
Changed “Ballistic Generation” to “Threat Analysis” in the Qilus Optical Prosthetic Eye Plug-in. It now provides a 2% half-wound chance. The half-wound effect has a chance to reduce the damage taken by the percentage indicated by the half-wound strength (50% by default).
V’s prosthetic “optical camouflage” duration increased from 5/10/15 to 10/15/15 based on rarity level.
Added optical camouflage ability to some NPCs.
Players will now still be able to see pinned enemies while activating optical camouflage.
Fixed an issue where some Prototype plugins could not be equipped at the same time.

Several battle AI optimizations have been made to improve the overall combat experience.
Several corrections and improvements have been made to NPC’s combat animations, including attack, death, equipping weapons, entering cover, hit response, reloading ammo, blocking and dodging animations, reducing animation interruptions, and smoothing animation transitions. The impact and field control effects of weapons will be more suitable, and the screen performance will be further improved.
Enemies will now move correctly to strategically advantageous positions for combat.
Increases the shooting accuracy of following NPCs.
Decreased explosion damage to players.
Fixed an issue where NPCs of the same faction or faction would not come to help when they saw other partners fighting.
Fixed an issue where NPCs would not react correctly when they entered combat after being hit by a grenade.
Enemies with shotguns now try to get as close as possible to the player during combat.
Added some visual effects when enemies use combat stimulants.

Now for a quick hack: Cyber Psycho no longer works on Cyber Psychopaths.
Fixed an issue where quick hacks uploaded by the enemy would not be interrupted when using quick hacks to close the camera as a connection intermediary.
Fixed an issue where the status effect “Cracked” would permanently exist on V’s body, making it impossible for cyber hackers to crack V.
Fixed an issue where Quick Hack in some cases: Decoy signals could not lead NPCs to V’s location.
items and equipment
Added new features to the stash bonus items (2 DLC jackets + 4 registration bonus items):
– From now on, these items will increase in rarity after a certain number of upgrades.
– Added base crafting specs (rare qualities) to these items. The list of available crafting specs in players’ existing saves will be updated accordingly.
It is now possible to switch devices on and off while carrying NPCs.
Fixed an issue where the elevator door animation would sometimes not display properly, resulting in players being able to see outside the map.
NPC
Reduced the health of opponents in quest “Black Fist”, except twins – they can now block and/or evade attacks, so the difficulty depends on the player’s level.

Fixed an issue where NPCs that could apply status effects would not use that ability.
Considering that NPCs with Krenzikov’s ability are better at dodging, reducing their health by 15%.
Expertise
Rebalanced several feats, removing some of them from the skill tree. All spent feat points will now reset. Go to the feats screen to redistribute feat points for free.
The following feats have been redesigned:
Blood and energy are brave, have no fear, heal without medicine, drink blood, be mad, and have a purpose.
Added new feats to replace obsolete content.
– Consistent against the enemy (the damage dealt by the player increases when carrying others.) -> changed to -> perseverance (being hit will not interrupt health recovery.)
-Still still (The maximum stacking layer of Rumao Drinking Blood increases by 1.) -> Changed to -> Easily out of the game (When Rumao Drinking Blood is activated, the damage caused by long-range weapons to enemies within 5 meters is increased by 10% (Level 1) or 20% (Level 2) .)
– Climbing the Dragon Pool alone (You won’t be detected when underwater.) -> Changed to -> Sharp eyes and quick hands (Using a throwing knife to headshot will blind the target.)
-Silent Execution (When attacking with a knife, you can immediately defeat an enemy whose health is lower than 15%.) -> Changed to -> Hidden Knife in the sleeve (When using a throwing knife to defeat an enemy or deal a critical hit, the current cooldown will be restored. All flying knives in state.)
– Lightning and Thunder (Crit chance increases by 3% when using technical weapons.) -> Changed to -> Unpredictable (When the ballistic coprocessor prosthesis is installed, aiming with a kinetic weapon can see the bullet’s rebound trajectory in advance.)
Due to the changes in the above feats, we have renamed the stealth skill tree to ninjutsu practice, which is more in line with the contents of the feats under the skill tree.
Do more with less, the bonuses provided by Field Technicians and Cutting Edge are dynamic bonuses. Changes will apply to already crafted weapons and clothing. Resetting the feat will correctly remove the bonus.
player mechanics
Now V can use jumps/climbs/jumps/sprints etc to go through broken glass windows.
Fixed an issue where V would pass through walls or fall out of the map when players throw NPCs into hideouts.
vehicle
Fixed an issue where a summoned vehicle would spawn at the same spot, causing the vehicle to disintegrate or be bounced into the air.
Fixed an issue where hijacking a hostile NPC’s vehicle would cause them and the roof to go through the mold and stay in the vehicle.
Fixed an issue where vehicles would freeze in mid-air after loading a save file. Now they will lose this superpower and just fall right off.

Reworked Throwing Knives – Throwing knives do not disappear, but automatically return to V’s hands after a fixed cooldown (the length of the cooldown depends on the rarity of the knives). V can also actively pick up flying knives to reset the cooldown.
The item stat of the Immortal Knife “Stinger” will now increase based on V’s level upon acquisition.
Increase the projectile speed of smart firearms to enhance the sense of strike and speed, such as Kang Tao G-58 classic weapons.
The sound range of silenced shots has been increased from 3 meters to 8 meters.
The “Stamina consumption reduction on attack” attribute for melee weapons will now function properly.
The weapon add-ons “Strong Power”, “Ignore” and “Peace is Precious” now increase weapon damage by a percentage.
Level requirements for melee weapons now increase with each upgrade.
PLEASE NOTE: Melee weapon levels that have been upgraded will also change accordingly. Items that do not meet the level requirements but have been equipped can continue to be used, but once removed, they need to meet the level requirements before they can continue to be used.
Balanced the weapon DR5 Nova obtained during the quest “Faith is a Bullet” so its stats now match V’s rank.
Players will now be unable to use the Crusher in the shooting match for the mission “No Missing Shots”.
Added aim assist for players when accepting Cassidy’s challenge to hit the bottle in the mission “The Eve of the Storm”, reducing the difficulty of the game using the controller.
UI
Various improvements to map usability, such as re-sizing icons, adding new tooltips and filters, and more. This includes dynamic filtering that changes based on zoom level, as well as custom filters that players can set.
Redesigned the “Time Jump” interface. It will now be easier to switch to a different time period and the expected time will be displayed.
Updated graphics for various scopes, increased rarity, and added new animations.
Readability, consistency, and graphical improvements have been made to UI panels, notifications, and pop-up messages.
Added a new notification to show the song title when the station starts playing a song.
The HUD now displays the vehicle name when getting in the car.
Item tooltips in the stash now show their correct stats.
Adjusted the crosshair of the flying knife.
Added counters next to the health bar to indicate how many stacks certain status effects stack when active.
Improved cross-key navigation in various screens and panels.
Added descriptions missing from waka sub database entries.
War on the Law – The interface of the distribution box has been improved, with more explicit feedback when interacting.
Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor would not scale proportionally with different resolutions.
Fixed an issue where the fast moving destination area would appear before loading the screen. No spoilers!
Fixed an issue with being able to see tutorial window elements in the menu.
Fixed an issue where reading the Separation Chip directly from the pickup container and then closing it immediately would cause the game to become unresponsive.
Fixed an issue where the read indicator would get stuck on the screen.
Task
Added some secrets to Night City for players to discover. Due to certain technical difficulties, the versions of the previous generation consoles will not include these contents.
Added new text messages and interactions to flesh out the romance with Panan, Kerry, River, and Judy.
Added interactive content at the lover’s home, including sleeping in bed with a specific partner.
Mission Briefing/Debriefing holographic calls for NCPD dispatchers and intermediaries can now be muted. Doing so will automatically skip the call and replace it with a text message. You can customize this feature via “Settings > Gameplay > Holographic Phone”. By default, the NCPD dispatcher’s holographic phone is muted, and the middleman’s holographic phone is not muted.
Players can now reject unimportant holographic calls. When a call comes in, a prompt will pop up on the screen, allowing the player to choose to answer or reject the call. If the player rejects the call, a text message is received instead of the call.
The holographic phone system has been improved in case the first call takes too long and multiple calls are stacked together.
Increase the volume of music in the nightclub to enrich the nightlife of Night City.
Fixed an issue where distorted visual effects would persist after returning from Cyberspace.
Fixed an issue where River would hang up immediately after calling him. Who is this!
Advanced Animals – Fixed an issue where the Liz Bar would not be open during opening hours.
Black Fist – Log entries for each fight will now only show up after the player has found them.

When is the prey coming – Fixed an issue where the butcher shop NPC would not spawn causing the progress of subsequent quests to be stuck.

Lost and Found – Now V’s old car won’t go away.
Hands Down – Fixed an issue where Panan wouldn’t call to trigger the quest after the quest “Breaking the Storm”.
open world
Club V now has an affinity relationship with middlemen all over Night City. The new intermediary commissions will be gradually unlocked in groups as their favorability increases, and only after completing all pre-commissions in the designated block, the intermediary will provide the player with another group of commissions.
You can get a special reward for completing all the middleman’s missions (except Mr. Hands, sorry, people just don’t like you). On the map screen, hover the cursor over the icon of the middleman to view the completed commission, and then you can know the favorability of the other party.
Now Night City has a much richer mass appearance during the day and at night. Random events have been added, and dialogue will be more varied across all blocks.
Attack Case Happened: Charter Hill – Fixed an issue where evidence could not be picked up.
Raids Happen: Company Square – Fixed an issue that would cause the quest to get stuck if the player gathered evidence before coming to Haywood.

Commission: Farewell Party – Fixed an issue where vehicles would spawn underground. If you encounter this issue, you may need to start escorting the Flavio vehicle to spawn.
Delegate: White Mouse – Fixed an issue where the elevator in the hotel would not open, causing the progress of the mission to be stuck.
Commission: The Work of a Lifetime – Fixed an issue where vehicles would not spawn or spawn incorrectly.

Fixed an issue where subtitles for Johnny’s multiple lines would stick to the screen.

Environments and Levels
The weather system has been improved, the weather now changes when certain conditions are met, and the order of changes is more logical.
Significantly reduced the pickup content scattered on the ground, so that players can concentrate on the mission scene and the game world itself.
Stability and Performance
Now HDD mode has added an auto-detect option. When enabled it will automatically detect the game’s installed hard drive and optimize data loading and crowd movement by increasing loading screens when necessary, sacrificing crowd diversity and street detail at high speeds.
Added AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution (FSR) 1.0 algorithm, replacing Contrast Adaptive Sharpening (CAS) technology. On PC it can be enabled via “Settings > Graphics > Resolution Scale”. The host platform cannot set this option.
Various fixes and improvements related to stability and optimization.
PC exclusive
Added benchmark mode. You can use this feature via “Settings > Run Benchmarks”.
Added “Toggle Walk” option when gaming with the keyboard. This feature can be activated by pressing G while exploring. You can also rebind the keys in the settings.
Added transparent raytraced reflections to glossy coatings on some vehicles.
Enable Variable Rate Shading (VRS) feature. It can improve rendering performance and picture quality by changing the shading rate of different areas of the picture frame. Requires support from compatible hardware.
Fixed an issue that prevented AMD graphics cards from using resolution scaling when ray tracing was enabled.
Discontinue support for Nvidia 700 series graphics cards. Since the graphics card driver no longer supports this series, we decided to change the minimum system requirements for Nvidia graphics card to GTX 970. Gaming with this card isn’t necessarily a problem, but we’re going to stop testing on an Nvidia 700-series card.
Windows 7: Future Support
Due to technical limitations of non-native Direct X 12 on Windows 7, and limited or end of graphics driver support, the game will no longer support Windows 7 after June 15, 2022. If you continue with a later version of the game, the game may stop working on this operating system.
Host exclusive
Added Brazilian Portuguese support for the Portuguese digital version of the game (PlayStation Package Codes: CUSA-18278 and CUSA-18279). For more details on language support, see: Xbox, PlayStation.
Implemented the function of transferring archives from PS4 to PS5. Related instructions can be found here.
Fixed an issue where V’s mouth and hair could be seen in first person view.
