MIUI 13 Global
On the stage of today’s presentation, the attention was not only for Redmi Note 11, 11 Pro and 11S but also and above all for the MIUI 13 Global. One month after its launch in China, Xiaomi’s major update is finally reaching the rest of the markets, including Europe. A presentation is expected by a large part of the community, given that with the latest MIUI 12 and 12.5 a certain gap has been created between Chinese and Western ROMs. To the point that some users created a survey to express dissent on this choice, to which the company replied with its own reasons.
The first novelty illustrated by Xiaomi for this MIUI 13 Global is actually something already seen with the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. I refer to the four features created to make the software more fluid and optimized: Liquid Storage and Atomized Memory improve the efficiency of ROM and RAM memory, Focus Algorithms dynamically allocate system resources Smart Balance improves energy consumption. If you are curious, I will explain everything in detail in this article.
From a functional point of view, MIUI 13 Global brings with it the sidebar, which is a sidebar to be recalled to quickly start the apps in the floating window. Also mentioned are the new widgets with even more square shapes. The novelties are illustrated with the presentation of the MIUI 13 Global end here. A whole series of functions seen on the Chinese ROM is missing and the absence of which has already sparked controversy.
How to install MIUI 13 Global
If you are among the owners of a Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO smartphone compatible with MIUI 13, you will receive it over the coming months. Meanwhile, some models have already received the very first Stable Beta ROMs: if you are curious, you can download and install them manually (at your own risk).
