Adobe today announced several new features of Photoshop for Apple Mac and iPad. Photoshop for iPadOS finally got the repair brush and magic wand tool. Photoshop for iPadOS was first launched in 2019. When it was released, the software lacked many of the features provided in the desktop version of Photoshop.
Adobe said at the time of its release that it will continue to add new features to the iPadOS version of Photoshop in the future. The newly added repair brush can correct blemishes by matching texture, light, transparency and other details with tools, and the magic wand tool can be used to select irregularly shaped areas, extract objects from a flat background, or choose different colors.
In addition to these two new features, the iPadOS version of Photoshop has also gained a canvas projection function, allowing users to share the PhotoShop canvas or collaborate in real-time on a larger screen. Users can connect the iPad to an external monitor or TV via HDMI or USB-C to protect the iPad’s screen on a large screen.
The macOS version of Photoshop has introduced improvements to the sky replacement function, added new skies to choose from, and supports importing up to 5000 skies at a time. In addition, the macOS version of PhotoShop has also improved the search tools, workflow, and menu items. You can click here to view the official detailed update document.
