Ninong Ering, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Arunachal Pradesh, recently sent a letter to Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, hoping to ban the game Battlegrounds Mobile India. He shared a three-page letter on his personal Twitter, believing that the game was launched in India in a way of “circumventing the law and defrauding the government and citizens.
Requested @PMOIndia @narendramodi ji to not allow Chinese deception #BattlegroundsMobileIndia. It is a big threat to security of India & privacy of our citizens and a way to circumvent & disregard our laws.@AmitShah #IndiaBanBattlegrounds #NationFirst #AatmaNirbharBharat @ANI pic.twitter.com/H8nzUJ4aRk

Ering believes that the game developer Krafton tried to relaunch PUBG Mobile by simply changing the name and providing minor modifications. This is just a kind of packaging and trickery. The release date of Battlegrounds Mobile India has not yet been announced, but there are rumors that the game will be launched on June 10 or June 18.

Ering believes in the letter that Battlegrounds Mobile India is just a restart version of PUBG Mobile and still poses a threat to India’s security and citizens’ privacy. It is worth noting that Krafton has added the same maps and weapons in Battlegrounds Mobile India as in PUBG Mobile.
