WhatsApp has now started rolling out the new look for Android users. Let’s take a look at all the changes in the new WhatsApp interface for Android.
WhatsApp Gets a New Interface on Android
The WhatsApp design overhaul brings the status bar from the top to the bottom, which is similar to WhatsApp on iOS. WhatsApp now showcased four tabs Chats, Updates (Status and Channels), Communities, and calls.
The company has also added sleek icons for each tab with a green accent for notification counts to make them easily identifiable. The green accent is also lighter in shade than the usual WhatsApp green used in the previous interface that we all know too well. The new green matches the colour of the WhatsApp icon.

Apart from the aesthetic changes, WhatsApp has also changed the way messages are displayed on the main chat screen. The main screen still shows all chats in one list with Archived chats on top.
