Google Wallet is an important app that allows payments via NFC. In addition to the ability to manually store tickets and loyalty cards, we know that the app will add movie tickets and boarding passes automatically.
Movie tickets and boarding passes automatically on Google Wallet
Google Wallet is an app that brings together several features, including those that were previously part of the Google Pay app (which is closing in favor of the former). In addition to allowing payments via NFC, Wallet can act as a digital wallet, storing credit and debit cards, as well as ID cards and documents, driver’s licenses, transportation or event tickets, boarding passes, gift cards, loyalty cards, vaccination certificates, virtual car keys and more.
As per the reliable tipster Mishaal Rahman, Google has announced that the app will automatically integrate movie tickets and boarding passes after the corresponding confirmation emails arrive on Gmail. It is not clear whether the news only concerns the Gmail app or whether it is also available using third-party apps associated with the Gmail address.
