Samsung will announce the foldable smartphones in the second half of 2024. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 come with the sturdiest display from the brand.
As per the latest report from the Galaxy Club, the South Korean giant has trademarked a new foldable display technology called Ironflex. The publication has spotted the trademark on the website of South Korea’s Intellectual Property Office.
The trademark reveals that the technology could also extend to products like TVs, laptops, and watches. We can also expect it to make its debut on upcoming foldable smartphones from Samsung.
The trademark spotted by Galaxy Club doesn’t reveal much except for the name Ironflex and that it’s a foldable display technology. The report states that the new label has been described as a foldable OLED display to be used in foldable smartphones.
