Samsung has officially listed information about its new image sensor called the ISOCELL GNK. As per the specifications, it consists of a 50-megapixel camera sensor that will expand the photography and videography capabilities.

The new sensor brings some impressive improvements over its predecessor, the ISOCELL GN1, including the ability to produce images with a dynamic range of up to 120dB.
The 50-megapixel ISOCELL GNK does retain the same 1/1.3″ size of its predecessor. It even has the same 1.2-micron pixel size, but Samsung has made improvements elsewhere to deliver enhanced photography and videography capabilities.
