Apple has recently launched a new range of MacBooks. The latest devices come with the new M3 chipset, which succeeds the M2 SoC. During the event, Apple introduced M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max silicon.

The Apple M3 Max chip gets a whopping 3,227 points in the single-core round and 21,167 in the multi-core segment. For reference, the M2 Ultra chipset scored 2,800 in the single-core round and 21,000 in the multi-core segment.

These numbers of M3 Max put it close to the M2 Ultra that is present inside the Mac Pro and Mac Studio. For reference, the M2 Ultra chipset scored 2,800 in the single-core round and 21,000 in the multi-core segment.
The iPhone maker company has already confirmed that the latest M3 Max CPU is up to 50 percent faster than its predecessor, the M2 Max. The Geekbench scores come close to this claim by being 40 percent faster.
The Apple M3 Pro has a 12-core CPU with 6 performance and 6 efficiency cores. For comparison, the M2 Pro comes with 8 performance and 4 efficiency cores. The memory bandwidth of the M3 Pro is 150GB/s, while the M2 Pro and M1 Pro are rated at 200GB/s.
