On October 04, 2023, Google officially launched the new Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones with AI capabilities. Google also announced the official launch of the Android 14 system for Pixel devices, which has now been pushed to Google Pixel 4a (5G) and newer models.

According to Google, other supported devices, including phones from Samsung, Nothing, OnePlus, OPPO, Xiaomi, realme, Sony, Sharp, vivo and iQOO, will receive the update later this year.
Android 14 Key Features
The latest Android 14 brings new security features such as better password support, privacy protection for handling suspicious data proxies, and a host of UI, customization, and health updates.
You will get a new custom lock screen options. You can switch between different clock styles and formats to make your phone’s style more personalized.
In addition, Google also allows users to add custom lock screen shortcuts, such as QR code scanning applications (for example, most domestic UIs support WeChat code scanning and Alipay code scanning) or Google Home applications.
Google also introduced an AI-driven wallpaper generator. Other new features in Android 14 include better camera extension support, 10-bit HDR image support, and Android’s new Health Connect feature that stores health and fitness data on the device, similar to Apple’s Health app.
