Meta owned WhatsApp application is rapidly integrating new changes under its software development. Now, according to the information from Wabetainfo, the company is working on more features to compete with the growing X (Twitter) social media platform.
As per the latest news, scheduled group calls for both voice and video are coming soon for WhatsApp users worldwide. Note that this feature is similar as what we’ve already checked on Zoom, Microsoft Teams and others.
Hopefully, the company may introduce this feature in the coming week.

It is available for only beta testers and if you are looking to test it, just download the 2.23.17.7 version.
How to set up a WhatsApp schedule group call
- Just click on the call button.
- Now pick a call subject and choose the date for the scheduled call.
- Make choices and click on ‘Send.’ WhatsApp will then dispatch a message to the group.
- An event will automatically be inserted into the group chat when you schedule the group call.
- Those who opt to participate will receive a notification 15 minutes before the call begins.
