To achieve this, OEMs can utilize a Runtime Resource Overlay (RRO) to override the resource array “avatar_images” by providing a list of bitmap drawable. The images referenced in this array will be displayed to the user in the profile picture picker activity as preselected avatar images.
Furthermore, for accessibility purposes, content descriptions for each of the images must be specified in the “avatar_images” array.
