Samsung has released the highly anticipated July Security Patch for its Galaxy S20 series devices in Europe, further enhancing the security features of these flagship smartphones. The update introduces significant improvements and notable enhancements.
The company has officially announced the availability of the July 2023 patch for the following devices: Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 5G, Galaxy S20+ 5G, and Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. The firmware versions G980FXXSIHWF6, G985FXXSIHWF6, G981BXXSIHWF6, G986BXXSIHWF6, and G988BXXSIHWF6 respectively correspond to these devices.
This latest security patch brings important fixes to address 49 high-level vulnerabilities and 3 critical-level Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) identified by Google. Samsung’s developers have already resolved 3 CVEs through previous updates, with one not affecting Galaxy devices.
