XiaomiUI has recently discovered the alpha version of MIUI 15 on the Xiaomi server. Insights obtained from Mi Code indicate that the initial testing iteration of MIUI 15 is labeled as MIUI-V23.5.22, suggesting that development work commenced on May 22nd.
MIUI 15 is expected to introduce enhancements in system animations, practical functionalities, and various other aspects. It is anticipated that the upcoming version will be based on the Android 13 and Android 14 systems, potentially expanding compatibility with a broader range of Xiaomi phone models.
Notably, the ongoing testing phase of MIUI 15 includes models from the Redmi Note 13 series, featuring a model codenamed “garnet.” Although specific details regarding its configuration remain undisclosed, it is likely to be launched in multiple markets, such as China and India.
