Nothing, the renowned brand that is currently gearing up for the release of its second-generation mobile phone, has received noteworthy certification news indicating the imminent arrival of its first smartwatch.
The well-known Twitter tipster Mukul Sharma recently uncovered the latest certification information, revealing that a watch bearing the model number Nothing D395 has successfully obtained certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India.
Furthermore, Nothing has officially submitted an application for the CMF By Nothing trademark, presumably intended as the name for this forthcoming smartwatch.
Beyond the details outlined above, the BIS listing has refrained from disclosing any additional information about the features or specifications of the Nothing smartwatch. However, it is anticipated that the brand will soon release a teaser, shedding more light on the product.
Notably, the founder of Nothing, Carl Pei, had purchased a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro several months ago, but expressed dissatisfaction with its performance by stating, “The watch is useless.” In response to a user’s query about the possibility of Nothing launching its own smartwatch, Pei Yu clarified that his purpose behind acquiring the watch was to gain a better understanding of the product category.
