Samsung has recently enjoyed tremendous success with the launch of its Galaxy S23, and now, in collaboration with GalaxyClub, we have obtained crucial information regarding the highly anticipated Galaxy S24. SamMobile and GalaxyClub have now confirmed the internal codename for the upcoming Galaxy S24 lineup.
Internally referred to as ‘Muse,’ the Galaxy S24 series by Samsung is expected to consist of three cutting-edge smartphones: the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. The Galaxy S24 Ultra specifically carries the codename ‘Muse3,’ while the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ are likely to be referred to as ‘Muse2’ and ‘Muse3’ respectively.
Samsung has a long-standing tradition of utilizing codenames for its premium smartphone offerings. In the past, the Galaxy S20 series was known as ‘Hubble,’ the Galaxy S21 series as ‘Unbound,’ and the Galaxy S22 series as ‘Rainbow.’ Similarly, the codename for the Galaxy S23 series was ‘Diamond.’
Although there were rumors suggesting the cancellation of the Galaxy S24+, it appears that Samsung is committed to maintaining its tradition of releasing a Plus model alongside the Galaxy S24 series. While details regarding the Galaxy S24 and its specifications remain scarce, we can confirm that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will boast a telephoto camera equipped with 5x optical zoom.
As is customary with Samsung’s flagship devices, additional information about the Galaxy S24 series will be unveiled closer to the official launch. We anticipate that further insights into the phones’ design and specifications will be revealed in the early weeks of 2024.
