Samsung’s mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy F62, is set to receive an important update after a three-month interval. This update, exclusive to the Indian market, focuses on enhancing the device’s security and has been highly anticipated by users.
The latest software update for the Galaxy F62 introduces firmware version E625FDDU4CWF1. Currently available in India, this update incorporates the June 2023 security patch, effectively addressing more than 60 security vulnerabilities that have been identified in various Galaxy phones and tablets. Notably, this update does not introduce any new features or performance enhancements.
If you own a Galaxy F62, you can easily verify if the update is available for your device. Simply navigate to the Settings menu, select Software Update, and click on the Download and Install option. Alternatively, you may choose to manually download the firmware file from our firmware database and utilize Samsung’s Odin software on a Windows PC for the installation process.
The Galaxy F62 was initially launched in India in February 2021, operating on Android 11. Subsequently, it received the Android 12 update later in the same year, followed by the Android 13 update towards the end of 2022. Later this year, the device is expected to receive the highly anticipated Android 14 update.
