Recently, WhatsApp app developers created the new Channels feature, in this users can send broadcast-style messages. Now, they are also working on a notification system, which will prompt about features available.
Previously, there several features come to the WhatsApp app like Chat Lock, and also users can change the sent messages. Last week, WhatsApp declared they will bring a feature known as Channels. This, with the help of the private broadcasting service, will enable the user to know about the latest topics in which users are interested.
This WhatsApp Channels feature will release, beginning with Singapore and Colombia. This feature introduces a partnership with select organizations. In this, every WhatsApp user will able to create the Channels. But some users when hit the links to Channels, can’t access them. In the coming weeks, the company will update when the users fully access this feature.
WhatsApp includes a feature that enables users to know that whenever a new feature is added to the app they prompt and users will know about the feature. These feature details are shared by the WABetaInfo. This WhatsApp feature is discovered in v2.23.12.20 on the Play Store. It is still in development and even beta testers do not able to access this.
Lastly, after the alert feature is released it will alert users with the prompting Notify me. In the coming weeks, they will update more about these features.
