In the past weeks, we all know that Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will launch in the next Samsung Unpacked event which held on July 26, 2023, in Seoul, South Korea. Now, as per the new rumor Galaxy Z Fold 5 will have a bigger crease than the China brand mobile phone.
From the past reports, this Z Fold 5 will have a water drop hinge which makes a teardrop shape when closed, making a gentle curve that left less of a crease. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a U-shaped hinge which put the display at a sharp angle when closed. In the below Ice Universe Twitter image, you can see the new update about Z Fold 5 phone.
This Galaxy Z Fold 5 phone design looks lighter and slimmer because of its new gapless hinge. This Z Fold 5 won’t have a larger crease than China brand mobile phone so it may be possible that this Z Fold 5 crease is similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 or just 15% less than. Galaxy Z Fold 5 will have the IP58 certification. If it is possible then this Samsung phone is the first smartphone gets this certification approval.
