When Windows 11 initially launches, File Explorer gets a few updates that time. Now, Microsoft brings more updates to the File Explorer. If we compare the File Explorer of Windows 11 to the previous version it did not change that much but in 11 they placed the new Ribbon toolbar with new row buttons.
In 2022, they redesign some menus, and tabs were added to the File Explorer. Now, the company includes more visual features in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23475, with recent and favorited files, and File Explorer gets the new Home page, and there is also a Recommended section that appears at the top. This Recommended section has the files which you may need.
In the above image, you can see new changes. This update brings a new redesigned address bar and search box and they also bring an indicator for the current OneDrive synchronization status.
Lastly, Currently, this File Explorer feature is starting to release in the Canary channel of Windows 11, and in the coming weeks, it will available to all.
