May 16/2023: Samsung includes fixes 4 Critical, 48 High levels, and 3 Moderate CVE in the latest Android May 2023 security patch details. Also, Samsung rolled out May 2023 security patch update for the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S8 series, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Flip 5G and others.
According to the latest report, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and Galaxy Tab S7 FE grabbed the latest May 2023 security patch update. However, the update does not include any specific details other than improvements. This update arrived in South Korea for the Tab S6 Lite and Brazil/Europe for the Tab S7 FE and it can be identified with the build number P615NKOS5FWD2 and T735XXU3CWE1/T733XXS3CWD1 respectively.
Note: Before upgrading to the latest version make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection, we recommend you download it over WIFI so that you will not face any errors.
How To Update:
- Using two fingers, swipe down from the top of the screen, and then tap the Settings icon.
- Swipe and then tap Software Update or System Updates. It will vary between models.
- Tap Download and Install, or Check for system updates. If an update is available it should begin downloading automatically, although you may need to tap Download now on some devices.
- When the download is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
