April 26/2023: Today, Verizon rolled out April 2023 security patch update for the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus in the US with the build number G973USQS8IWC1 and G975USQS8IWC1 respectively.
April 09/2023: According to the previous report, Samsung recently released the April 2023 security patch update for their smartphones. Previous, the South Korean tech giant made disappointing news for the Galaxy S10 models users (not counting the S10 Lite) that the company will no longer provide any software updates.
According to the latest report, now, another Galaxy device grabbed this opportunity. Samsung Galaxy S10 5G grabbed the latest April 2023 security patch update. This update only has bug fixes and security improvements. As per the official details, Samsung’s April 2023 security patch includes fixes 4 Critical, 46 High levels, and 1 Moderate CVE.
As per the details, the latest software update comes with the build number G977BXXSEHWC1.

How To Update:
- Using two fingers, swipe down from the top of the screen, and then tap the Settings icon.
- Swipe and then tap Software Update or System Updates. It will vary between models.
- Tap Download and Install, or Check for system updates. If an update is available it should begin downloading automatically, although you may need to tap Download now on some devices.
- When the download is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
