Under the Settings / Location / Location services, there will be a new item ‘Timeline’. There are a total of 4 items on this page. The first item ‘Your timeline’ currently opens nothing when clicked.
The second item ‘Export Timeline Data’ allows you to create and save a copy of your timeline data from the current device as a ‘location-history.json‘ file. The third item ‘Delete Timeline data’ allows you to delete location history of the current device.
The last item ‘Encrypted backup’ currently opens the Google Account ‘Activity controls’ (Location history) settings page. As you can see, it is still a work in progress, perhaps the first item should open Google Maps. Also, there is no link under ‘Learn more’ yet.
