In the past months, Samsung will reveal new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Previously, a lot of information about the two devices has been rumored online, and as we get close to their official launch, we can expect that more and more information will be made available.
As per the MyFixGuide, both phones have passed the CCC (China Compulsory Certificate) certification process and are listed as supporting 25@ charging with Samsung’s standard 25W charger, model EP-TA800.
There are no Fancy charging speeds here:
Recently, declared Vivo X Fold 2 supports 100W wired charging and has a wireless charging speed that is twice as fast as the wired charging speed of Samsung’s foldables, 25W charging may appear out of date in comparison to the charging speeds offered by Chinese manufacturers.
However, playing the numbers game is not Smasung’s forte, and the Korean giant continues to attract customers, so it is unlikely that this will change anytime soon. In addition, neither the Z Fold 5 nor the Z Flip 5’s battery capacity appears to be increasing, as fast are aware. Although this cannot be confirmed at this time, the battery on the Z Flip 5 may even be slightly smaller.
Moreover, due to the “For Galaxy” Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which proved to be a game-changer on the Galaxy S23 series and will power the two phones, battery life should not be an issue in any case.
