BREAKING: MIUI 14 and 13 update adds Bonus Bloatware you can’t uninstall

MIUI 14

MIUI 14

MIUI 14 Global and MIUI 14 Indian versions will have Opera Browser installed by default as part of Bloatware from March Security Patch onwards. MIUI 13 users with April Patch are also eligible.

This means that MIUI 14 new feature is — your smartphone will pack not 1, not 2 but Holy 3 Browser by default — Google Chrome, Mi Browser and Opera Browser

Opera Browser is UNINSTALLABLE on Indian MIUI 14 but it can be uninstalled on MIUI Global. No sign of Opera Browser on the latest EEA/RU/TW/ID/TR ROMs yet.

Xiaomi while launching MIUI 14 claimed that MIUI 14 will have only 8 system apps and now they are adding bloatware to MIUI. Again another marketing strategy FULL OF LIES.

Mi browser is already banned by Indian Government for data stealing. So, Xiaomi has partnered with Opera Browser to steal data now and users will use it because it has In-built VPN. By using its VPN, Opera still steals data.
