According to the previous report, Samsung recently rolled out the April 2023 security patch update for a number of their devices including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy S22 series. The update introduced new features as well as fixed some bugs.
According to the latest report, now, another Galaxy device grabbed the latest core update. Samsung Galaxy A22 grabbed the latest One UI 5.1 along with the April 2023 security patch update. The latest software update arrived in Europe (Netherlands and Belgium). As per the official details, Samsung’s April 2023 security patch includes fixes 4 Critical, 46 High levels, and 1 Moderate CVE.
The April 2023 security patch for the Galaxy A22 comes with the build number A226BXXU5DWC1 and the size package of this update is around 1.05GB.

How To Update:
- Using two fingers, swipe down from the top of the screen, and then tap the Settings icon.
- Swipe and then tap Software update or System updates. It will vary between models.
- Tap Download and install, or Check for system updates. If an update is available it should begin downloading automatically, although you may need to tap Download now on some devices.
- When the download is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
