Unofficial or non-Samsung-certified accessories, which are mostly used to protect the rear camera lens, have recently prompted Samsung to issue a warning that their Galaxy S23 series smartphones may be damaged. Samsung explains how these unauthorized accessories can harm. One of the examples shows that removing the camera ring from a third-party or non-Samsung-approved lens protector may scratch it. When removing this accessory, the company advises users to exercise caution.
Samsung additionally referenced that clients of the Galaxy S23 series telephones might see scratches on the focal point defender, fail to remember that they have utilized this defender, and erroneously imagine that their camera focal point has been damaged.
When all they needed to do was remove the lens protector, they ended up going to an authorized service center, wasting both time and money.
Samsung also says that some phone cases and lens protectors that cover the camera lens add an extra layer of glass, which can make photos and videos less good.
It can also hurt the quality of the image if liquids and foreign objects get between the lens protector and the lens.
Additionally, Samsung emphasized that the bottom of the camera module of each of the three models of the Galaxy S23 series phone contains a microphone that can be blocked by third-party or non-Samsung-certified phone cases, rendering calls and video/audio recordings extremely dull.
