There are several reports circulating all over the web that Microsoft is looking to bring the Xbox store to Android and iOS. It seems to be great news and now according to Phil Spencer, they want to offer their own and third-party content wherever there are displays.
Google also seems ready to accept more alternatives in its store and the company is already working to improve Android. It’s just not possible at Apple, but there’s some speculation that it’s coming because the pressure is getting too big.
Currently, Microsoft is battling regulators in the US, Europe, and the UK, who have all expressed concern about the potential impact on competition of the Xbox console’s owner purchasing the developer of Call of Duty, one of the world’s most popular game franchises.
