Just one week after the previous beta was made available to developers, Apple today started pushing out iOS 16.4 beta 4. A number of new features and adjustments are included in iOS 16.4 for iPhone users, as we’ve covered in-depth over the past two weeks.
The fourth beta of iOS 16.4 will be made available to registered developer beta testers today. You can apply the update as it becomes available over the air by navigating to the Settings app, selecting General, and then selecting Software Update. Later this week, the new upgrade will be made available to public beta testers. The update for today has build number 20E5239b.
The public is anticipated to receive iOS 16.4 in the coming weeks as long as beta testing goes according to plan. When iOS 16.4 is released later this month, Apple and Brazilian carrier Claro plan to enable 5G standalone for iPhone owners.
