Recently, we were informed that Google wants to fix the ongoing Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro scrolling issue with the latest update and now another report about the Android Auto, Gboad android app and Google Assistant app is here.
Android Auto Coolwalk Update
The major Coolwalk update to Android Auto has been in distribution for the past few days and cannot be rolled out in any way. Recently a person from Google spoke directly to the community on this topic and confirmed the suspicions of the users. The cool walk update for Android Auto is not yet fully distributed. They also say that the delivery of the new interface is really dependent on connected vehicles.
Gboard App Update Improves Action Bar
Google seems to be making many changes these days in its one-of-a-kind keyboard app Gboard. These changes include a clearer structure of the menu for additional functions. At the top of the action bar is a new button that has the distinctive style of an app menu button.
Now we can see this button permanently. And the button on the far right is now gone. This now frees up another space, so that instead of four, five shortcuts, including volume controls, are now available in the new action bar. Google is rolling out this change via server-side rollout.
Google Assistant Light Mode is no longer available
Google Assistant regularly tries new ideas to see what works and what could work better. This includes ways to make our products look and feel consistent throughout our product ecosystem. To offer a more helpful visual experience across all your devices, including Pixel Watch and Google TV, when you engage with Assistant on mobile Light mode is no longer available – it will now have a dark appearance, even if you have the Dark theme turned off in your phone settings.
