Several Google Pixel users are now facing Bluetooth connection issues on Android Auto after the January 2023 update.
The issue is currently reported by several Reddit that received quite a number of confirmations from other users via comments and upvotes on the first day after the update rollout. Of course, we are sure that all users won’t affected. Only in the coming days and weeks will it become clear how widespread the problem actually is.
Users of Google’s Tensor smartphones complain about the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 device series. As for the car brand, the problem is not specific.
Bluetooth problems and Google cell phones have been a tradition for many years. The Pixel 7 series has fared very well so far and hasn’t really had any problems with Bluetooth or mobile communications so far. Meanwhile, Google is rolling out Android Auto’s split-screen redesign into stable starting today (January 5).
