Dec 30/2022: According to the latest report, Microsoft rolled out a preview of a Windows Subsystem for Android update that will soon introduce support for DRM-protected high-resolution video streaming. A developer at Microsoft Hamza Usmani said in a reply to the Hardware DRM/Widevine L1 post: This is a new feature request that we have paid attention to, and we appreciate the feedback here.

According to the latest report, Microsoft today released an update for Windows Subsystem for Android™ on Windows 11 to members of the Windows Subsystem for Android™ Preview Program.
