Google Voice hardly sees large updates that don’t essentially try to confront nowadays. Now, getting smart organization exchanges to further develop call quality.
The VoIP service used to “identify the ideal network only at the time the call was placed” in the past. “When it determines that one network type will lead to better call quality,” Google Voice now automatically switches ongoing calls between cellular data service and Wi-Fi.

All Google Voice users, including presumably free US accounts, should already have access to this feature. It’s probably for mobile apps because of the need for connectivity, but Google doesn’t say if it’s just for one platform.
You should be able to experience it now, even though it is a background feature; however, no additional details are available. The ability to place or receive a second call when you are on an ongoing call was added to Google Voice at the end of July. According to a review of the previous year’s launches:
You can quickly decide if you would like to take the second incoming call by placing the current call on hold or by hanging up the current call. You can also reject the second incoming call if you would rather not be interrupted right now.
Other features include administrators’ ability to control automatic or manual call recording. And linking phone numbers from local carriers, are intended for paying enterprise customers. At this point, Google Voice for Android needs to be redesigned using Material You.
It is one of the few Workspace apps that does not have a splash screen with animation or even the Workspace logo.
Lastly, RCS would be an excellent addition, it appears that calling is Google Voice’s primary focus these days, particularly for enterprise customers.
