Gmail:
As per the official report, Google Gmail for Web is now getting an enhanced search feature that was previously introduced in July of this year. The new update let you provide more models to provide contextual contact suggestions.
Chrome:
According to the latest report, Google just released the latest version of Chrome on the Canary channel, in which users can enable the experimental Encrypted Client Hello (ECH) function. ECH is mainly used to enhance the privacy protection of Internet connections.
The activation steps are as follows:
- Make sure to install the latest Chrome Canary version, users can visit chrome://settings/help, then Chrome will check for updates and will install any updates it finds. A reboot is then required to complete the update.
- Load chrome://flags/#encrypted-client-hello in the browser’s address bar.
- Set Encrypted ClientHello to “Enabled”
- Restart Google Chrome again
Google describes the feature:
- When enabled, Chrome will enable Encrypted ClientHello support. If the server enables the extension via an HTTPS DNS record, the TLS ClientHello is encrypted.
Google Maps on Wear OS:
Recently there were reports that Google Keep has been deprecated from older Wear OS devices such as those running below Wear OS 3.0 and now another Google app has said goodbye to older Wear OS systems. If you are using a watch with an old Wear OS system then you will be able to use Google Maps for some time but if you reset the watch then the app will not load again.
