It has been almost one month since Google launched the Pixel 7 series smartphones. Now, from rumors Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro source code discovered. In that, upcoming phones codenamed mentioned Shiba for Pixel 8 and Husky for Pixel 8 Pro. Maybe it looks too early for the Pixel 8 codename to come.
Last month launched Pixel 7 has the Cheetah codename. Pixel 7 phones are embedded with the Tensor G2 which has machine learning, and security silicon built to enhance specific user experiences.

Facts about Tensor G2 and Tensor G3
Pixel 7 series has the Tensor G2 chip which uses Samsung’s 4nm process and Exynos 5300 5G modem. This chip provides faster Google Assistant queries, quicker voice translation, and improved voice typing (2.5x faster than using the Google Keyboard). The next version Tensor G3 enhances these features.
Pixel 8 series will run on the Android next version Android 14. The codename of Android 14 is “Upside Down Cake”. They also may with the SoC which is also called Zuma. Tensor G2 is manufactured by Samsung so it expects that the Tensor G3 is also by Samsung. From the summer update, the Tensor G3 is based on Samsung same as the Tensor G2.
Lastly, the Pixel 8 comes with advanced and some other enhancements like fingerprint sensors.
