Talking about the latest report, Steam has officially shared the news today, stating that Steam is preparing to update the big screen mode with a new interface designed for its Steam Deck, and it will be open for testing today.
It should be noted that this controller-first interface is designed for Steam Deck’s handheld mode and docked mode, which is perfectly adapted to the various situations that currently apply to large-screen mode. After the update, the large screen mode will include the following features:

- The new Controller Configurator makes it simple and easy to select, adjust or create custom controller configurations.

- Updated in-game interface with access to achievements and guides.
- Press the Steam / Navigation / PS key during the game.
- New system menu for quick navigation to different parts of the interface.
- The new menu can be accessed by pressing the Steam / Navigation / PS key.
- New quick access menu to access notifications, friends list, quick settings and more.
- Access by pressing the Steam + A keys.
