For video game players every new improvement just increases their playing experience more. Now, an update comes, v44 was released for Meta Quest owners. This update is mainly for those who like to create gaming videos and it increases their video-creating features.
Meta Quest v44 also brings new advanced video settings which increase video creation and give flexibility with their content. This new setting won’t be available by default, and for allowing this feature, the creator needs to go experimental setting enable it. After this, video creators can use this feature for recording footage.
Meta Quest v44 brings enhanced video features for creators are:
- When the video creator record footage from their VR, they face one problem it captures the user’s movements. For example, if a user shakes their head or other movement shown in the footage. Later creators will be able to use the image stabilization mode which can allow degrees of stabilization. Adding more stabilization is help in less field of view the footage will have.
- Now, the users will choose their expected ratio for recording the video like either 16:9 horizontal, or 9:16 vertical videos, and in a 1:1 aspect ratio as well. In addition, frame rates can now be chosen, but as a warning, higher frame rates will affect app performance. The choosing quality of video gives the user the best video footage. These different bit rates enhance the video quality and higher bit rates also increase the file size.
- This update introduces the new supervision tools which help in to block the irrelevant data from showing their kids. It will also stop unauthorized access to the apps installed on the Quest headset.
Lastly, Meta will strengthen the App unlock features that exist in the v40 update. This App lock enables parents to lock several apps with one passcode. The new features of Meta Quest v44 are amazing.
