Google removed the vibrate mode icon from the status bar a while back for unknown reasons. But now with the launch of Android 13, Google has relaunched its Vibration Mode icon.
That goes down well in the community. Because it is positive that the permanent display of the small icon is an option. If you don’t want that, leave the option switched off. If you want it to be displayed, toggle the switch in the settings. Can be found on Google Pixel from Android 13 in the system settings under “Sound & Vibration” at the bottom.
The option was actually back with Android 12.1. Here the option comes back only if Android 13 is installed. The update rollout of the new Android version started at the time of writing. Before Android 13, the symbol still existed. But it was no longer visible all the time, only when you opened the notification bar.
