Konami, the parent company of eFootball, has today announced that the company will release an update for eFootball 2022, in which the name of eFootball 2022 will be changed to eFootball 2023 at the end of August. What other changes will be made in this update, it has not been disclosed yet.
As we know, the former Pro Evolution Soccer was the protagonist of a disastrous debut, but it has then been substantially improved over the months, as evidenced by the video that compares the current version and that of the launch of eFootball 2022.
We imagine that the evolution of the eFootball 2023 edition will obtain with it further improvements and refinements, in the context of what, as envisaged, stands as a real live service platform and not as a product distributed year after year in a traditional way.
In preparation for the new season, we will be updating eFootball™ 2022 to eFootball™ 2023 in late August.
More information will be available soon, so please stay tuned!

Konami explained that it will continue to collect feedback from users about introducing the most requested features and improving the already existing features to be able to deliver an experience that matches the expectations of enthusiasts.
The customizations, credits and saves of eFootball 2022 will finally be able to be transferred to the new edition: in this sense, the development team has invited you to check the in-game announcements with all the instructions.
