At a launch event in China on December 28, 2021, Xiaomi released MIUI 13 to its latest and older devices. As you’d expect, MIUI 13 comes with a bunch of new features and performance improvements, including new privacy features, a new system font, a bunch of cool wallpapers, and even a version optimized for tablets. Here’s a quick overview of everything new in MIUI 13, followed by its wallpapers, rollout schedule, download links, and more.

How to Upgrade to MIUI 13

  • Please back up your data and apps before upgrading to MIUI 13.
  • Please go to the Updater app and check for updates (or download Recovery ROM).
  • If your device is bootloader locked, please unlock it before fastboot flashing, know more here.

Note

  • MIUI 13 Global beta version based on Android 12 is released for Redmi Note 9S – GL-V13.0.2.
  • MIUI 13 Global version based on Android 12 is now rolling out to Redmi Note 9 – GL-V13.0.1 (excluding Peru, South Africa and Turkey).
  • MIUI 13 Global version based on Android 12 is now rolling out to Redmi Note 9T – GL-V13.0.2, GL-EEA-V13.0.2 (excluding Poland and France).
  • MIUI 13 Global version based on Android 12 is now rolling out to Redmi Note 11 Pro – GL-V13.0.2 (excluding Morocco, United Arab Emirates and Egypt).
  • MIUI 13 Global version based on Android 12 is now rolling out to Redmi Note 11 – GL-IN-V13.0.1.
  • MIUI 13 Stable GL-V13.0.4 (Android 12) for Redmi Note 11 has only been pushed to GL-V13.0.12 (Android 11). V13.0.15, still on Android 11, and will be upgraded to Android 12 later.
  • MIUI 13 Global version based on Android 12 is under testing for Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11S, Redmi Note 11S 5G, Redmi Note 11T 5G, Redmi Note 11 NFC, Redmi 9, Redmi 9T, Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9S, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.
