Google provides a video calling app name Google Duo through which you do video chat with family and friends. Maybe you know, about the Google Duo video calling app that will be merged into Google Meet. It bit confusing how it will be going to be handled, we can expect that the Duo becomes meet in the coming days.
For now, the company’s continuous work on Google Meet will be available as video calling from a business/ education-first which is its first service. Maybe they need third-party apps and service integration for this transition. Google will enable you the ability to “live share” an app inside while calling, they still working on it. They need multiple integrations for this both hangouts between friends and serious business calls alike.
It enables you to see YouTube, streams music and podcasts on Spotify with your close one, or play games like Uno, heads up, and Kahoot. There is still something for business users like GQueues task Manager. Some assets are added to the app and display multiple app icons.
Right now, the Google Duo is exactly like before but maybe once the merging is done it phased out. Some feature only available on Android, as Google Meet will “take your call to a third-party app.
It’s not clear when this sharing feature is done and come out. They still working on that, maybe this merging process take one more month to Duo accepts the feature of Meet.
